The kids had a fundraiser at Skating Plus. They had so much fun. I think Daddy had the most fun of all! The kids can't wait to go back. It was a great night.

Student of the Month

So, I went to help out in Isaiah's class yesterday. I was stopped by the principal. She asked me where I was this morning. I asked what she meant by that. It turns out Jr got an award and didn't bother giving mom and dad the note saying he was getting one! What a little booger! So we took him out to dinner for getting STUDENT OF THE MONTH! It was our family, Auntie Kat, Auntie Jen, and Bryan's grandparents who went. We had so much fun!! We are so proud of him. Here are some pictures I took. I didn't get one with Jr and his great grandparents or Auntie Jen. We left before I could get one.

On the back of this his teacher wrote something. She wrote:

Cub Scouts

This is Isaiah's first year of Cub Scouts! He is so excited to finally be able to do it. He has already gotten 2 things signed off. On Wednesday, we had our first Pack meeting of the year. Isaiah was welcomed into the pack that night.

On the same night Jr got his Wolf brag bead holder that hooks on his pocket of his uniform. It was a great night all around!!

Soccer 2009!!

This year we have 3 in soccer. If that wasn't bad enough I signed up to be Savannah's coach and Bryan ended up being Jr's coach. I felt bad for my Isaiah, so mom signed up to be his asst. coach. We are very busy on Saturdays. We have lots of fun though.

My little Savannah Mae playing her very first game!! She still isn't into the games that much but she is getting a lot better. She only likes to play about 1/2 the game.
Isaiah has come along way from last year. He is doing really good in soccer. He is enjoying every minute of it too.

Jr is back to the way he played his first year. He could be really good if he would just listen to the people that are trying to teach him. He is getting really good. He loves sports. Next year he wants to play football.

With all the other kids in school, Meeya and Morgan are feeling a little left out. They get to hang out 4 days a week! They LOVE getting into trouble together. But boy oh boy do they keep Nicole and I laughing. It's great having cousins so close by!!

Beau....My New Puppy

Back in July Bryan bought me a puppy. He is the cutest thing. He is 1/2 Yorkie and 1/2 Chihuahua. He is about 4 months old now. Morgan loves to bug him. He thinks it's the coolest thing that he can pick up a dog. Beau will let him do it for a little while. After that he runs and hides. Beau it totally my dog though. No matter where I am, Beau is right under my feet.

I know. I know. Long time no update. So, I thought it was about time I did. Here are a few pictures from the first day of school.

Here is Savannah outside her Preschool class! She is so excited because she gets to go to the same school as her big brother's now. She loves going to school. Boy oh boy is she getting big.

I went to a cooking class the some ladies at the church put on. This month was Jams and Jellies. I was asked to make bread for the class. We had so much fun, so I thought I'd try it on my own. I bought a flat of strawberries and got started. I asked my dad to help seems how he's made it before. Of course my little Savannah Mae had to help me make it. We had so much fun. It was so easy!! A flat made 3 batches of jam.

Cub Scout Hike

While I was on my walk. Bryan took Jr on his hike with his Cub Scouts. They had so much fun. Bryan wants to start hiking with the kids. Jr stayed in front of the Pack the whole time. March for Babies!!

On March 16, 2009 I got to participate in my very first walk for March of Dimes. This charity is something really close to my heart. My little Isaiah was born at 28 weeks and 4 day. He fought hard to stay with us. He had 6 surgeries by the time he was 2. I'm walking every year from this point on! Every baby should get the chance to be born healthy. One day that will happen and I will be able to say that I helped make it possible. Here is a little slide show. Hope you enjoy it!!

On Saturday Jr went to the Science Center in Orange County with his Cub Scouts. Boy did we have a lot of fun. I ended up draging Bryan out of there. He's still bugging me on when we are going back.

When we were leaving the zoo they gave us some bookmarks. When I looked at them I realized that you were supposed to plant them. We were going to Bryan's grandparents house for dinner Saturday night. The kids couldn't wait to get there. They wanted to planet their bookmarks! Bryan's grandma has a little garden in her backyard. Every time the kids see anything to do with gardening they think of grandma. So after dinner grandma took the kids outside and let them planet their bookmarks. What a great end to a great day!!

Los Angeles Zoo

We had so much fun on Friday that my wanted to go to the zoo on Saturday. This time we went to the Los Angeles Zoo. It was hot but the kids had so much fun. We met up with my cousin Jessica and her 2 boys. It was a great day. Hope you enjoy....

Santa Barbara Zoo!

Friday was the last day for Spring Break. Our poor kids didn't get to do anything. So we thought we would take them to the Santa Barbara Zoo. It was Nicole (my sister) and her 3 kids, Barbara (one of my best friends) and her 3 kids, my sister in law Jennifer, and me and the kids. There was 10 kids and only 4 adults! Boy did we have fun. I got to help out in Isaiah's class for his Easter party! I had so much fun. They did all kinds of fun centers before the party started.

Easter at Savannah's School

Savannah had her Easter party today at school. She was all excited about it. She couldn't wait to go to school so she could see the Easter Bunny. Like always she was scared of the Easter Bunny. After he was gone she had lots of fun.

She learned to write the letter R. She liked that.
On Monday they colored Easter eggs. Of course hers would be pink. LOL

My Little Cub Scout

Bryan found out Jr was old enough for Cub Scouts. So, guess what he did?? That's right put Jr in it. He's been going for 3 weeks now. Last night at the meeting he got to hold the American flag. He was so excited about it. He did such a great job!!

In this one him and Daddy are getting welcomed into the pac.

Jr got his first award last night. He got the recruiter badge. He's the only one in the pac to get it. Jr thought it would be nice to have his friend Alec join.

Savannah's School

This week at Savannah's school was dress up. Monday we didn't dress up cause it was Super Hero Day. Tuesday was Mickey and Minnie day. We dressed her up as Minnie Mouse. She looked so cute!! She had so much fun this week. Next week it's all about Easter! They even have the Easter Bunny coming!! Can't wait for next week!

On Wednesday it was Princess day! Boy did Savannah love that. We borrowed a cute little dress from Auntie Cole and Makayla. She looked so cute.

Savannah's Ballet Recital!!

My little girl is growing up!! She was out of school for a few months because she goes to the high school for her preschool class. I had to find something for her to do, so I find a Ballet class. She just fell in love with it!! It was only a 8 week class. Today was her last day. They put on this cute little recital! She loved every minute of it. Daddy had flowers waiting for her when she was done. Here's a little video I made. I love you princess!!

My First Fire!!

Last night I thought it would be fun to have a fire going while we did family home evening. Dad had to go home teaching, so I thought I would try to do it. WOW to my surprise I could do it!! I had the fire going for 4 hours!! Boy was my house nice and warm!!

Relief Society Birthday

On March 17 we had our Relief Society Birthday. We did an Irish Celebration. It was so much fun. We had the Blarney Stone and some yummy food. We made our own Limericks and shared them. Boy was that loads of fun. A birthday party would be complete without games!! We first played Hot Potato. That was fun to watch. Our last game was Musical Chairs! It wasn't your normal game though. They had cute little Leprechaun masks on, and the chairs weren't in a circle! They were all over the place. Once the music started again the chairs got moved! It was so funny. We all went home with our stomachs hurting from laughing to hard. Wow what a great night. Enjoy the video!!!

Makayla's Baptism

Temple Trip

Oh March 7th my sister, Nicole, went through the Los Angeles Temple. I'm so glad I was able to share it with her. It was a beautiful session. We had lots of family there from both our family and our ward family! It was a very spritiual experience. My dad had all of his kids together in the temple for the first time! It was GREAT! Kids Say The Cutest Things

The pink eye is still going around our house. I've spent the whole day washing all the bedding and cleaning all the toys. I have to have it gone by this weekend. We are going to have WAY to many kids here. And I'm sure no one wants to go home with pink eye. Savannah was talking to Uncle D last night on the phone. He was asking about her pink eye. Deven just thought her answer was so funny. When he got home from work he called back so Auntie Alyssa could hear Savannah's story about pink eye. Alyssa thought it was so funny! You'll see why she made the comment she did about Savannah's eyes. So with Deven and Alyssa bugging me, I got it on video. Here is what Savannah thinks about her pink eye.......

Isaiah's frist award at school!!

Last Friday Isaiah came home from school with a note from his teacher. I opened it up and read it. My eyes started to tear up. I handed the note to Bryan. The note said that Isaiah was going to be getting an award on Monday. The weekend wouldn't go by fast enough. Monday finally came. We take the kids to school. We all wait for the kids to sit down so the awards can start. The first award was Most Improved. This is the one I thought he was going to get. His class came and went. Isaiah was not called. The next award was Best Citizen. Like the one before Isaiah's class came and went. Once again Isaiah was not called. The last award was STUDENT OF THE MONTH!!! They called Isaiah's name. He didn't want to get up. His teacher had to help him. Finally he went up and got his award. We are so proud of him. He has come along way from the beginning of the year. WAY TO GO ISAIAH!!!

Pink Eye Again!!

I thought we were over the pink eye. Isaiah and Morgan's eyes are clear. Yesterday morning poor Savannah Mae woke up with green stuff in her eye. My poor little girl caught pink eye. She got it the worst out of all the kids. She woke up with her eye closed shut from the green junk. She didn't know why she couldn't open it. But over all she's still in a good mood. She had fun dancing with daddy yesterday! Hopefully Jr won't get the lovely pink eye. Wish me luck AGAIN!!

My poor baby came done with pink eye last night. If that's not bad enough he has an ear infection on top of it. For being a sick little man he is still so happy. Isaiah didn't want to listen to me when I told him to stay away from Morgan and to keep washing his hands. He woke up this morning with a pink eye. It's funny to watch Jr and Savannah. They keep washing their hands and wont come within 10 feet of the boys. The eye drops seem to be working. Their eyes are getting so much better. Mom is counting down the days until we are done with eye drops, and hoping no one else gets it!! Wish us luck!!

San Diego Trip

On the 19th of Feb we headed to San Diego for a funeral. Bryan's great aunt passed away, so we went in place of my father in law. On the way out there we saw a lovely big rig turned over. Glad everyone was ok in that one. Once we got there the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. We came home on the 20th. It was a long trip but it was great to see family we haven't seen in years. The kids didn't want to come home. We are going to be planning lots more trips up there. Bryan's cousin is going to teach the kids how to ride horses and rope. They can't wait for that one!!

For Valentine's Day my lovely husband bought me a new camera!! It is a Canon EOS Rebel XSi 450D. It came with a Canon 18-55mm lens, Canon 75-300mm lens, Canon 50mm lens, wide angle lens, telephoto lens, 3 piece high resolution filter kit, 8 GB memory card, 4 GB memory card, USB card reader, 2 tripods, digital flash for SLR cameras, hard carrying case, and soft carrying case. I love it!!

Primary Activity 2/13/09

On Friday, Feb. 13,2009 the kids went to one of the retirement homes with their primary. They sang some songs and handed out Valentine's to the people living there. The kids had a GREAT time. The only one I could get a picture of handing out their card was Savannah. She looked so cute giving this little old lady her card. She didn't want to stop talking to her.

Uncle Bud!!

My cousin, Jessi, and her family came over for Thanksgiving. Before the Turkey was even cooked Uncle Bud made fudge! Well, Brady was at the table with his mommy. Uncle Bud thought it would be funny to give Brady the pan he made fudge in! As you can see he loved it!! Mom was laughing the whole time. Great job Uncle Bud!!

Poor Bryan!

On Tuesday (November 25, 2008) Bryan went to the Urgent Care for major stomach pain. They ran some test but were not sure what was wrong. Told him he had to go to the hospital the next day for more test. I wouldn't let him wait until the next day. I made him go in that night. He went in around 6:30 pm. I get a call at 9:30 pm saying they have to do surgery. Turns out he had to have his appendix removed. He was out of surgery around 11:30 pm. We thought he was going to be in the hospital for a few days. I was with him Wednesday night when his doctor came to see him. Told us that he was able to go home! He was going to be home for Thanksgiving!! I promised the kids that I would take them up to say good night to Daddy. So I did just that. We all loaded in the van and went up there. But to their surprise we were picking Daddy up!! They were all happy!!
